NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO 08) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Vision RT Inc, 580 Howard Ave # A. Somerset, NJ 08873. The period of performance for contract award will be July 23, 2024, through September 30, 2024, to be performed at the Bay Pines Veterans Affairs Healthcare System. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C.

1901 Simplified acquisition procedures as implemented in FAR 13, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS Code is 334510 Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing (SBA Size Standard 1250 employees). This requirement is to provide SimRT Linear Accelerator Software. Vision RT Inc. is the only known provider as the equipment and software are proprietary.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.

If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due no later than July 22, 2024, by 10:00 AM (EST). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Brittany.Rodriguez@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted.
