Intent to Sole Source - Audiology Equipment

This is an Intent to Sole Source, this is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to provide information based on this requirement.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contacting Office 8, Regional Procurement Office East, on behalf of the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center located at 7305 North Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33410-6400, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source award to e3 Diagnostics, Inc. located at 3333 N Kennicott Avenue, Arlington Heights, Illinois, 60004-1429 in support of the Northern Multispecialty Clinic (NMS) Clinic. The proposed contract is for the Audiology Equipment with installation listed below:

Features: wave files recorded speech tests; pediatric noise; fine frequency testing; customer startup settings; QuickSIN; BKB-SIN; VRA control. Special tests included: SISI; ABLB; tone decay; TEN.

No speakers, as this might be use without booth 1 EA Labor - Installation 1 EA GSI Video Otoscope 1 EA This sole source award to e3 Diagnostics, Inc. is in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by way of the procedures in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 13.5.

This Sole Source is authorized under FAR subpart 13.106-1(b), soliciting from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of this contract action deem only one source reasonably available. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, quotes, or capability statement. No solicitation will be posted as a result of this notice. This notice complies with FAR 5.101. This Special Notice is being issued for information purposes only.

Responses received will be considered for determining sources for future procurements. Any information submitted in response to this notice of intent is strictly voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent. Vendors having the technical capability to meet this need, please submit evidence of your capabilities.
