This is a Notice of Intent to published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 (a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information regarding proposed contraction actions. This Notice of Intent is to negotiate a sole source contract to ScriptPro USA Incorporated. Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract under authority 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1), Use of noncompetitive procedures.
In accordance with FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i) Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 8 requires ScriptPro USA Incorporated to uninstall equipment at current location, packaged, shipping and handling.
On-site installation support, calibration, testing, reconfigure and reinstallation of equipment at new location to its OEM standard specification and to ensure equipment is functioning at its optimum operation and efficiency to remote into ScriptPro access servers. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered. All responses received will be reviewed solely on the purpose to determine whether or not to conduct the procurement on a competitive basis.
A determination not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Submit responses to Contracting Officer rohan.mckenzie@va.gov to reach the Government point of entry by the response due date of this notice. The Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard for the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing is 1,000 employees.
