FY24 LSVT BIG Training Intent to Sole Source

Notice of Intent to Solicit from a Single Source LSVT BIG® Training for Orlando VA Therapists. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 8, Orlando VA Medical Center (OVAMC) located at 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando FL, 32827, intends to issue a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1).

Brief Description of Services Required: The contractor shall be responsible for providing the following:

Provide 15 hours of learning that include pre-recorded and virtual live lectures, nearly 100 video demonstrations, instructor led exercise practice, case study presentations, and question and answer time. Digital downloadable course materials. Key objectives for this training: Discover key treatment principles of LSVT BIG and its research support. Master the LSVT BIG exercises and treatment methods through instructor- led practice sessions.

Develop a practical lifelong model of care for your patients with chronic conditions. Determine how to apply LSVT BIG to other disorders when indicated. Receive helpful implementation tis enabling you to offer LSVT BIG in any practice setting. The training should prepare therapists to successfully complete the entire course, become certified, and ready to evaluate and treat veterans utilizing the proprietary treatment methods. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated and shall be awarded.

It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. It is not a solicitation or request for quotes. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
