INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - SERVICE -FY24: IP Phones Integration

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office 8 intends to negotiate a sole source contract under the authority of FAR part 13.106-1(b). The associated NAICS code for this service is 238210 with a size standard of $19.0M and PSC Code N065.The identified vendor is Professional Communications, Inc. as equipment manufacturer authorize representative.

Professional Communications, Inc (PCI) is the sole service provider for Puerto Rico and will provide all necessary services to bring this equipment to manufacturer s specifications. This is to comply with the requirements of VHA directive 2009-004 and TJC regulations. A service contract for a two-month period is anticipated and shall be awarded.

Due to the proprietary nature of the equipment, a factory certified field service technician from PCI is required to provide software maintenance and support services which may consist of software updates, troubleshooting, remote troubleshooting, training, and re-training for users, adjusting, replacing hardware s. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available.
