Radiation Oncology Physician Services | San Juan

The Contractor shall furnish all personnel to provide services necessary to perform on-site board-certified Radiation Oncology Physician(s) to eligible beneficiaries of the San Juan VA Medical Center (SJVAMC), VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS). All VHA Radiation Oncology Services are accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting body contracted through the National Radiation Oncology Program (NROP).

As such any Contractor providing on-site radiation oncology services must adhere to all the policies and procedures; practice standards, guidelines, patient care operations; patient safety; quality assurance and quality management of radiotherapy planning, equipment, and delivery; and continuous quality improvement initiatives promulgated by the American College of Radiology, American Society for Radiation Oncology and American Associate for Physicist in Medicine.

The Contractor shall quote a total of 0.6 (1252 hours) full time equivalent (FTE) Radiation Oncology Physician(s) (ROP) as key personnel to be credentialed and be available for scheduling to meet the requirements of the contract on an as needed basis. The quote shall identify a minimum of two (2) Radiation Oncology Physicians, one (1) primary and one (1) back up.
