It is neither a solicitation nor a request for quote (RFQ) and it does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Request for solicitation will not receive a response. The sources sought notice is for market research purposes to make the appropriate acquisition decision and to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses and their Small Business Administration (SBA) size classification in relation to North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) 33416, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, size standard of 1000 employees.

The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 08, Caribbean Veterans Affairs Healthcare System is seeking a source to provide Brand Name Leica Biosystems or Equal Microtome Histocore Autocut, Automated Rotary Microtomes for the Anatomic Pathology Department in San Juan P.R, Puerto Rico.

Concerns may respond by submitting qualifications letter including the following information: Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Phone, Email, System for Award Unique Identification Code, Socio-Economic Category (i.e., SDVOSB, VOSB, HUBZone, etc...), and Capability Statement specific to the technical requirements. This must not be a generic line card but something that the government can positivity use to determine the procurement strategy of this requisition.
