THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Department of Veterans Affairs, James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital Tampa, located AT 13000 at Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL. intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source requirement contract for Analyzer Systems and Reagents with DIASORIN INC, a large business located at 1951 Northwestern AVE S, Stillwater, Minnesota, 55082-7536, United States. This procurement is conducted under FAR 15.002 (a) Sole source acquisitions.

Under the authority of (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements. To lease analyzers and procure reagents test kits. In accordance with (IAW) FAR 5.207(c)15, the reason justifying the lack of competition is that, after extensive Market Research, no other responsible source was identified that could meet the Government s needs. IAW FAR 5.207(c)16, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which the agency shall consider.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their capability to be considered for future procurements. NAICS Code 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing 1,000 employees apply to this procurement. See the attached documents.

The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 15.002 (a), a justification using the format of FAR 6.303-2 is still required. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All information received by 10: 00 A.M.EST, 09/19/2023 will be reviewed for future procurements.
