The Columbia VAMC NCO-7, in support of the Atlanta VA Medical Center, intends to award a sole source contract to Nihon Kohden America, LLC for eight (08) PSG-1100 amplifiers with EtCO2 technology embedded. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 339112 – Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. The Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center has a requirement for for eight (08) PSG-1100 amplifiers with EtCO2 technology embedded.

This requested equipment is to assist in best practices by aiding the clinician in identifying and diagnosing specific types of sleep disorder. EtC02 monitoring is an essential part of a sleep study. The system is compatible with the Nihon Kohden sleep acquisition system used in the Atlanta VA sleep lab. To replace this with another manufacturer’s equipment would result in a significant increase in cost to the Government.

In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, Nihon Kohden America, LLC is the only source capable of providing the required supplies. This is not a solicitation, nor is a solicitation available. However, interested organizations may submit a capabilities statement and qualifications.

Responses must be in writing and must be submitted electronically to Jeremy Calligan, Contracting Officer, at Jeremy.calligan@va.gov by 12:00 noon EST on, March 17, 2025.
