The Columbia VA NCO-7, in support of the Ralph H. Johnson VAMC, intends to award a sole source purchase order for Maintenance and Repair of LivaNova Heart Lung Machines. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 339112 – Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. LivaNova is the only responsible source capable of providing the required services.
Description: The Ralph H Johnson VAMC requires maintenance and repair service of two LivaNova USA Inc. Heart Lung Machines, and all ancillary systems. LivaNova is the sole manufacturer and servicer for the 5S heart lung bypass system and its supporting components including the 3T warmers that are already in place at the Ralph H. Johnson Medical Center.
In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, LivaNova is the only source capable of providing the required services. This is not a solicitation, nor is a solicitation available. However, interested organizations may submit a capabilities statement and qualifications.
Responses must be in writing and must be submitted electronically to Jeremy Calligan, Contracting Officer, at Jeremy.calligan@va.gov by 12:00 noon EST on, January 10, 2025.
