Description
As published on SAM.gov.
The Columbia VAMC NCO-7, in support of the Birmingham VAMC, intends to award a sole source purchase order for a Stryker Q-Guidance Navigation System. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 339112 – Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. Stryker Instruments is the only responsible source capable of providing the equipment needed.
Description: The Stryker Q-Guidance System is intended as an aid for precisely locating anatomical structures in open or percutaneous computer assisted Neurosurgery. The system enables surgeons to operate in a low-risk environment using image guided instruments. It is indicated for any medical condition in which the use of computer assisted planning and surgery may be appropriate and where reference to a rigid anatomical structure such as the skull, vertebra, or long bone can be identified.
This system utilizes active, passive, and electromagnetic tracking to create the most accurate navigating option. It is the only guided system on the market that allows for surgeon control on the operative field, a non-invasive patient tracker, a precision targeted guide for biopsies and automated segmentation systems for tumors. Additionally, the system seamlessly integrates with the Ziehm 3D Radiology system that is currently utilized within the Operating Rooms at the Birmingham VAMC.
In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, Stryker Instruments is the only source capable of providing the required supplies. This is not a solicitation, nor is a solicitation available. However, interested organizations may submit a capabilities statement and qualifications.
