FY25: Montgomery VAMC PA System Site Survey

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 7 intends to award a sole source open market purchase order to Petranka Contracting LLC, 931 N. McDonough St, Montgomery, AL 36104, for Montgomery VAMC PA System Site Survey. The Contractor shall complete a site survey that includes the following:

1. Request plans and .DWG files for 13 buildings on campus from COR after award and make copies of sheets needed for the survey.

2. Coordinate with COR to be able to walk with them during their site visits.

3. Set schedule for the survey days.

4. Identify all incoming TELCO rooms, locate 66 blocks.

5. Verify all equipment, all call, amplifiers, power supplies, and speakers.

6. Identify all existing speaker locations and verify with existing plans.

7. Provide COR with .DWG file for each of the 13 building for best and economical placement of speakers and equipment.

8. Provide identified photos of each closet.

9. Provide list of hardware recommended by the manufacturer. at the VISN07 Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System at 215 Perry Hill Rd, Montgomery AL 36109. NAICS code 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors and the Classification code is J061 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Electric Wire and Power Distribution Equipment with a Size Standard of $19 Million.

THIS IS NOT A NOTICE FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements above, may give written notice prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due on 11/01/2024 at 10:00AM CST. Responses shall be submitted via email to Contracting Officer Terri Hudson, terri.hudson@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted.
