**This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for Market Research purposes and not for solicitation** In accordance with FAR 15.201 , responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Additionally, the Government reserves the right to revise the Performance Work Statement, Statement of Work and/or other contract requirements before the release of any associated solicitation. This notice is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quotes (RFQ).

STATEMENT OF WORK SCOPE OF WORK The Department of Veterans Affairs, Durham VA Health Care System (VAHCS) has a need to purchase ten (10) new Motorola NPX N50 2-way portable radios to the Durham VAHCS located at 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705. These radios are necessary for communications for the facility and staff to help with routine patient and emergency support. Upon purchase the vendor will provide ten (10) Motorola NPX N50 radios, batteries, chargers and related accessories.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The items purchased will be used by the Engineering staff to provide essential communication capabilities needed when supporting facility management and repairs to provide for patient care and support. Items to be purchased Ten (10) each, Motorola NPX N50 2-way radios which shall be programmed to properly operate with the facilities existing radio repeater system and meet all current FCC federal regulations for radio transmitting and receiving systems.

The radios must be programmed to communicate with the other Motorola digital radios already in service. Additionally, each radio must be provided with a single remote speaker microphone and belt clip. Fifteen (15) each batteries and one (1) each desktop multi-unit charger shall be provided to ensure unit will always have sufficient charged batteries and spares.
