VA-25-00038693/637-25-2-167-0367 CEPHEID SERVICE AGREEMENT

The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Cepheid. This contract will be to provide a service agreement for GenXpert Infinity 48-16, at the Charles George VA Medical Center (VAMC) in Asheville, NC. This order (OEM) training on the specific models located at the Charles George VAMC and must have full and unfettered access to all OEM service publications, diagnostic services. Cepheid is the OEM and can provide these services.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations.. Interested contractors may identify their capability to provide the services prescribed within this notice,and should provide sufficient data for the government to determine them as a comparable alternative to the intended source. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.

Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 13.106-1 (b).
