Succeeding Lease - Clayton CBOC

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, Hampton, VA intends to negotiate a commercial (GSAM Part 570) Sole Source lease under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.

The VA intends to award to GREENLEAF INVESTMENT PARTNERS L070, LLC, 11618 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520 for a maximum of 11,855 RSF at its property located at 11618 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520. Current tenant organization Clayton Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) occupies approximately 11,855 RSF and requires a new lease. Movement to an alternate site is cost prohibitive. Staying in place saves Federal dollars for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Accordingly, the GREENLEAF INVESTMENT PARTNERS L070, LLC is the only firm capable of providing the supplies and services described above without the Veterans Health Administration experiencing substantial duplication of cost that could not be expected to be recovered through competition and unacceptable delays in fulfilling its requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition is prepared in support of this acquisition. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Applicable NAICS code is 531120.
