Intuitive Surgical Da Vinci Xi Dv Service

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with SDV Office Systems, LLC dba SDV Medical for a full-service maintenance contract for the Intuitive Surgical, Inc. Da Vinci Xi at the Durham VA Medical Center in Durham, NC. Service to include, but not limited to:

Response time of 24 hours via telephone, Technical phone support between 6:00am and 8:00pm EST, After Hours phone support 24/7/365 for technical support, Periodic software enhancements to existing features updating user functionality, Preventative Maintenance: Semi-Annual Maintenance to be Performed , On-Site service, Corrective Maintenance : On- Site when not able to be resolved via phone support, All parts required for preventative or corrective repair of the system, excludes instruments and accessories.

Period of performance will be One Year. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) soliciting from a single source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can meet these requirements and possesses relevant past experience and expertise may give written notice.

Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
