Special Notice Special Notice Page 3 of 3 Page 1 of Special Notice *= Required Field Special Notice Page 1 of 3 Page 1 of 1 BioFire Filmarray Torch System Support INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Hampton VA Medical Center, located in Hampton, VA, intends to award on sole source basis contract to Biomerieux INC. to support a full-service contract for a base plus four option year to cover all maintenance, parts, and labor of the Biofire Filmarray Torch System.

The proposed contract action is for service for which the Government intends to procure from one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. Biomerieux INC. is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the Biofire Filmarray Torch System, its modules, and other components. Biomerieux INC is the sole supplier of any service-related material including, but not limited to, field repairs, extended warranty, retrofits, service contracts, or unit certifications for Biofire Filmarray Torch System.

The award will go to Biomerieux INC. directly. As a Sole Source purchase, quotes are not being requested. Responses shall be received, in writing, no later than 1:00 PM, EST, on 12/04/2024 to Yanique.williamschin@va.gov. Any firm or individual submitting comments shall identify their firm name, point of contact, title, address, and telephone number.
