ASP STERRAD SERVICE AGREEMENT

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Ethicon, Inc., Advanced Sterilization Products, to provide Annual Maintenance on STERRAD Sterilization System equipment, located at the Hampton VA Medical Center in Hampton, Virginia.

Service shall include supply of all transportation, labor, parts, materials, tools, specialized equipment, unlimited software updates and support, supervision, and technical expertise in-accordance with the STERRAD Sterilization System Maintenance Program. Advanced Sterilization Products program maintains STERRAD NX Serial Numbers 33102243, 33230435, and 1047170366. Only ASP technicians are authorized to service ASP STERRAD system.

Period of performance will be for the period 15 November 2024 through 14 November 2025, with four option years. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) soliciting from a single source. Please note, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Solicitation documents are not available and telephone requests will not be accepted. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement.

Responses will be considered by the Government. However, Government determination not to compete the proposed acquisition, based upon responses of this notice, is solely within Government discretion.
