INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - QVELLA LAB FAST ANALYZER

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Qvella, Corp for a Qvella Lab Fast Analyzer, associated accessories, service, and installation for the Durham VA HCS located at 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC, 27705. It is the Government’s belief that the proposed candidate is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and sole provider of the Qvella Lab Fast Analyzer and all associated products, service, and installation.

Using any other supplier would result in duplicated costs that would not be recovered through competition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Market research has determined that these items can only be obtained from a single source without an unacceptable duplication of cost or delay in the continuity of patient care. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted.

However, any business that believes it can provide the Qvella Lab Fast Analyzer may give written notice to Bernadette.Quevedo@va.gov by 09:00am EDT on September 3, 2024. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Interested and capable respondents are requested to provide the information below. All responses to this notice shall include:

company name, address, point of contact, phone number, System for Award (SAMs) Unique Entity Id Number (UEI), manufacturer authorization letter, authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller documentation. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
