AMBULANCE SERVICE OMNICELL SYSTEM & CABINETS

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B). Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if it's determined only one source is reasonably available to satisfy agency requirements, as supplemented with additional information in this notice.

The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 6 intends to award a Limited Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to Omnicell Inc. for the Omnicell XT Cabinets for the Fayetteville Veterans Medical Center (VAMC) located at 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Hampton VAMC intends to award a Firm-Fixed price, single source delivery order to Omnicell Inc. The purpose of the order is to obtain Omnicell XT Cabinets and equipment. Requirement to include:

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
