The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO) is conducting Market Research through this source sought to help determine the availability of qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Small Businesses (SB), manufacturers and distributor, registered under NAICS code 339113 capable of supplying for the Fredericksburg HCC. This requirement will be one time buy.
Salient Characteristics Functions to be performed; Provide a transport and short-term storage system to protect endoscopes and other delicate equipment by minimizing direct handling and reducing contact with airborne contaminants. Performance required; Provide clear and distinct identification between clean and dirty scopes being transported and stored. Provide removable tray options for various other drying cabinet and storage systems.
Essential physical characteristics; Dimensions (if applicable) Minimum of 34.7 H x25.2 Wx22.1 D to a maximum of 40.5 Hx25.2 Wx22.1 D. Up to 7 trays per cart. Mobile with Locking Castors. Solid surface (melamine), easily cleanable. Cart should not be a wire or steel mesh cart. Trays must be easily cleanable. Trays must be able to transport scopes horizontally (not vertically). Interested sources shall indicate that they are capable of providing the required supply/services and must provide the following:
1) Full name and address of the firm 2) Size status (i.e., small business, 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business 3) Offer item(s) on schedule or open market 4) Capability statement 5) NAICS Code 6) If small business, can your company meet the requirements specified in FAR 52.219-14, limitations on Subcontracting. Additional, at time of quote company must be registered in SAM.gov and if not the manufacturer provide a authorized distributor/licenser letter from the manufacture.
No other information is required at this time. Some will provide letter with they quote. The capability statements received from this market research are for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research, and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The Government will not assume any costs incurred by the contractor in the preparation of responses.
