Gynecologic Cytology Processor Thinprep 5000

The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to sole source a contract for the purchase of Hologic Thin Prep 5000 for the following medical center: Fredericksburg HCC 10432 Patriot Highway Fredericksburg, VA 22408 The objective of this sole source award is for a firm-fixed-price contract with Hologic, Inc. This sole source determination is in accordance with FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition, procedures and in accordance with 41 USC 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

Hologic, Inc. is the only known authorized supplier and servicing agent for Thin Prep 5000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.

Interested vendors that can meet this requirement, should identify their interest and capability, and respond to this notice by 9:00 am Eastern Standard Time on September 26 2024. Interested vendors must send a capability statement, no more than one page in length; to include the Company Name, UEI Number, Socioeconomic Category, and brief description of your business entity s capability to provide these items. All information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government.

Facsimile or telephonic responses will not be accepted. The Government will not pay for any information submitted as a result of this synopsis.
