Hologic Service maintenance

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Hologic Inc , 250 Campus Drive, Marlborough, MA 01752 for the service maintenance plan of the Hologic Selenia Mammography system located at the Durham VAMC, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and sole provider of the Hologic Selenia Mammography system and all associated products and service maintenance.

Using any other supplier would result in duplicated costs that would not be recovered through competition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Market research has determined that these items can only be obtained from a single source without an unacceptable duplication of cost or delay in the continuity of patient care. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted.

However, any business that believes it can provide the Hologic Selenia Mammography system service maintenance may give written notice to Cherisse.Hall@va.gov by 8:00am EDT on July 24, 2024. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Interested and capable respondents are requested to provide the information below. All responses to this notice shall include:
