Salient Characteristics for nursing home beds Deck height from 3.6 to 25 Must have an adjustable deck height. Bed width choices of 35 , 39 or 42 . Bed accommodates mattress lengths of 80 or 84 . Must Include and allow Advanced Positioning Capabilities (Cardiac Chair, Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg) Low Chair to allow user to sit in a modified position. Cardiac Chair allow user a chair position while in bed. Trendelenburg to allow user to lay flat with lower legs elevated.

Reverse Trendelenburg to allow user to lay flat with head elevated. Must be able to support the weight capacity: 600 lbs. or above. Include a 5-function Trendelenburg backlit pendant with one button chair. Must have 4-swivel casters. Must have a therapeutic foot rack. Must have a wall bumper system. Must include an integrated patient weight scale. Provide headboards and foot boards. Requires battery back-up. Requires a pivoting assist bar on left side. Requires a pivoting assist bar on right side. Requires a pressure relieving foam mattress 42x80x6, capacity to hold 450 lbs. or more.
