Stryker Neptune Service Contract

Description INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Stryker Sales LLC. dba Stryker Instruments for the Salisbury Healthcare VA Medical (VAMC) intends to provide ProCare Preventative Maintenance Service Plan Contract to provide scheduled PMs, repairs, and software updates for the Stryker Neptune Rover and Dockers. THIS IS NOT A REQQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUATATIONS OR PROPOSALS.

The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), NCO6 Network Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract for the Salisbury VA Medical Center (VAMC) Supply Chain Management Services (90), 1601 Brenner Avenue Salisbury, NC 28144-2515. This proposed contract action is to procure a maintenance agreement for Stryker Sales LLC. Base Year: 3/01/2024 to 2/28/2025 with options. Firm-fixed price contract to Stryker Sales LLC. at 4100 E. Milham Avenue Portage, MI 49002-9704. Firm-fixed price Contract to Stryker LLC dba Stryker Instruments.

Classification Code: J065, Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment Medical, Dental and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies.

NAICS: 33912, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified acquisition procedures as implemented in FAR 13.106-3(b)(i), only one responsible source and not other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The contracting officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem that only one source can provide the services required at the level of quality required because the services are unique or highly specialized. A determination not to compete this proposed contract is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the Government.

This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties that believes they can fulfill this requirement should submit supporting evidence to be reviewed. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. This evidence shall include a letter from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) stating vendor is an authorized distributor per clause 852.212-72(c).

Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
