INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE SAFESIDE RANGE AND TRAINING (GUN SAFETY TRAINING)

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 6 intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price, contract to SafeSide Range and Training LLC for gun safety training to be delivered to the Salem VA Medical Center located at 1970 Roanoke Blvd, Salem VA 24153. This contract action is for products and services for which the Government intends to solicit from only one source under the authority of FAR 8.405.6 Only One Source.

Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 611699 (All Other Miscellaneous Schools and Instruction) with a small business size standard of $16.5 Million Dollars.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS The Department of Veterans Affairs, Asheville VA Medical Center intends to award a firm fixed price, single source delivery order to SafeSide Range and Training LLC. The purpose of the order is to obtain gun safety training for the police services staff at the Salem VA Medical center.

Base Year Contract for SafeSide Range and Training LLC Base Year: 3-1-2024 thru 2-28-2025 Order to include the following training: 75 Hours of Range Facility Use A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
