OMNICELL ADVANTAGE SERVICE PLAN NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The RPO East/NCO 6 Contracting Office, Hampton, Virginia, intends to award a sole source purchase order to OMNICELL, Inc. as a result of them being the only licensed and authorized servicing agency for the OMNICELL Advantage Service hardware and software. The Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center is in need of OMNICELL medication dispensing systems to support medical operations. The OMNICELL pharmacy system is the only dispenser on the Durham campus.

OMNICELL, Inc. has all the required resources to support the long-term maintenance requirements for this medication dispenser. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B). The anticipated award date is 13 February 2024. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals.

However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is 9 February 2024@0900 (9am) Eastern Standard Time. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
