The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Illumina for NextSeq 2000 Silver Support Plan Agreement for The NextSeq 2000 Next Generation Sequencer for the Durham VA Medical Center in Durham, NC. The Contractor shall provide NextSeq 2000 Silver Support Plan. The agreement includes full coverage for parts, labor, and travel, with an onsite target time of 2 business days. Reagents will be replaced on plan upon Hardware failure.
The Silver Support Plan ensures ongoing Technical Support, hardware/software updates as developed. Preventive Maintenance services suitable for the Illumina NextSeq 2000 Sequencer is included. Perform service check list according to the manufacturer s specifications. Engineer performs external and internal cleaning of the instrument. Maintenance, hardware/optical calibration, and software update of the instrument. Perform system self-test and comprehensive functional checks.
This test will ensure that all the sub-components are performing within specifications. Perform service check list according to the manufacturer s specifications. Contractor must have full access to the original manufacturer s software for calibration and repairs as required. Maintenance will be performed NextSeq 2000 Silver Support Plan at Durham VAMC. Period of performance will be Base with Two Option Years.
Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) soliciting from a single source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can meet these requirements and possesses relevant past-experience and expertise may give written notice.
Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
