.?## SOLICITATION-DECRIPTION The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, on behalf of the Fayetteville VA Medical Center, is seeking Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Small Business (SB), to provide Apartment Housing for Resident Medical Students rotating through the Fayetteville VA Medical Center (VAMC).The Department of Veteran Affairs, VAMC Fayetteville, Fayetteville North Carolina seeks a contractor to provide apartments for Residency Medical Students. The contractor shall furnish an apartment to the resident (s) that are rotating through the VAMC as part of their medical training.
The contract facility will be located within 15 miles of the VAMC, 2300 Ramsey Street Fayetteville, NC. Â The number of apartments required are 7. The facility will provide a maximum of 7 apartments at one location. Each apartment will have a minimum of 500 square feet in total living area.
The contractor shall furnish each Resident(s) authorized lodging under this contract with the following basic services: A one (1) bedroom apartment to include a small double or three-quarter bed and other furnishings such as a dresser, storage, and alarm clock.
The apartment will have a mini kitchen that will be fully furnished with an updated (4) burner stove, oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, full size refrigerator/ freezer, dishwasher, kitchen sink, (4) place setting of a variety of bowls, plates, and utensils. The kitchen will also have a variety of cutting knives along with cooking pans and pots. In addition, a variety of sizes of glasses and coffee cups. A living/dining/study area that will include a dining table with seating for (4) with chairs.
The living area will include at least a 32" screen color television and cushion sofa that will fold into a bed and a minimum of (2) chairs. The apartment will have working WI-Fl internet and cable service. Bathroom will have at a minimum of a bathtub with a working shower head, to include a shower curtain. A sink with a small vanity, mirror, and toilet. A plunger, brush and bucket will be provided in the bathroom.
Fire alarm and carbon monoxide detector. (if gas appliances are used in unit) Patron will have a designated parking space and a visitor parking area will be provide for guest. The patrons will have access to a washer and dryer. The apartment will be a smoke free environment. The apartment will have a working air conditioner and heating unit with a working thermostat can be adjusted by the occupant. Any windows in the apartment will have curtains that can be open and shut. No pets will be allowed on this contract.
The apartments will be free of bugs, roaches, flies and any other insects.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 531110, Size Standard $34.0 Million Dollar, and the Product Service Code (PSC) Classification is X1PZ.  Interested parties should submit with their response the following information: 1.
