Page 2 of 2 INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO 6) intends to enter into a sole source procurement with Roche Diagnostic Corp., 9115 Hague Rd. P.O. Box 50457 Indianapolis IN 46250 for procurement of the Cobas 6800 Molecular Biology Analyzer equipment, regents, and consumables. This acquisition is under FSS contract V797D-70105 for a firm-fixed-price with option years anticipated. Item will be delivered/used at the Richmond VA Medical Center.

NAICS code 334516 applies to this procurement with small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to procure from one source under the authority of FAR 808.405-6.

This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotations; however, all responsible sources that identified their interest and capabilities within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Internet site, www.sam.gov.
