Atrium Smoke Purge Testing

The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to WINERGY LLC. This order will be for Atrium Smoke Purge Testing at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC. Historical data and market research has determined WINERGY LLC as an authorized vendor capable of receiving the sole source requirement in accordance with FAR 6.302-5.

In accordance with FAR 19.1406 since the services can be provided by SDVOSB vendor WINERGY LLC no other verified SDVOSB or VOSB vendors were contacted. WINERGY LLC has been identified as a certified SDVOSB vendor who can supply this service. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all expressions of interest received within three (3) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government.

Interested contractors may identify their capability to provide the services prescribed within this notice and should provide sufficient data for the government to determine them as a comparable alternative to the intended source. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.

Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 13.106-1 (b).
