Notice of Intent to Sole Source

SPECIAL NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 05, Baltimore VAMC, 10 N. Greene Street, Baltimore MD 21201 is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to inform industry contractors of the Government s of its intent to award a sole source contract to Harrison House of Snow Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

The contract is expected to be awarded IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements per 41 USC §3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The contract will be for Harrison House of Snow Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center to provide Community Nursing Home services for the Baltimore VAMC.

Harrison House of Snow Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is located at 430 W Market Street, Snow Hill, MD 21863. NAICS code: 623110, Nursing Care Facilities (Skilled Nursing Facilities) (SBA Size Standard $34 million) This notice of intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made based on unsolicited quotations or offers received in response to this notice.

The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. The Government anticipates the award of an IDIQ contract. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 05 will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent.
