The notice of intent to sole source this requirement is for the procurement of registration fees for twenty-one (21) VHA Office of Clinical Services employees to attend the 2024 American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Congress on Healthcare Leadership Conference in Chicago, IL from March 25 through March 28, 2024. The ACHE annual Congress provides a unique opportunity for healthcare leaders across the healthcare continuum to gather to help advance healthcare leadership excellence and improve healthcare in communities across the U.S. Over 5,000 healthcare leaders are expected to attend, making this an excellent opportunity for networking and sharing of best practices in healthcare.
The emphasis of the Congress is transformational leadership and collaborative learning. There are over 150 expert-led sessions for attendees to choose from in order to earn continuing education credits (CEUs).
Several of the sessions are being given by VA employees on the topics of VA's Whole Health System of Care Transformation, VHA s Journey to High Reliability, VHA s Innovation Ecosystem, The DEI Journey of the VHA Office of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention: Lessons Learned and Advancing It in a Large-Scale Healthcare Organization, Forum on Advances in Healthcare Leadership Research, The Study and Application of Best Practices Used for Healthcare Organization Process Improvements, Better Together: Leading Through a Lens of Action-Based Health Equity, and Leadership Insights: Excellence, Efficiency and the Evolution of the VA s Care Delivery Model.
The ACHE Congress on Healthcare Leadership Conference is by far the largest event with over 5,000 attendees, 320 expert speakers and 150 education and networking sessions.
