Sole Source Notice to KCI Wound VAC Rental Lease for a BPA Base Plus 4 Option Years

Negative Pressure Wound VAC System Rental The Washington DC VA Medical Center has a continuing need for Negative Pressure Wound Therapy that will be used for inpatient needs. Washington DC intends on maintaining eight (8) units at a time, and order all others as needed per patient.

We serve a patient population with multiple risk factors as wells as clinical procedures that requires several negative pressure wound management systems during and after procedures to establish and sustain efficient patient care to veterans with various types of wounds to reduce further injury, infections that can be life-threatening. The contractor shall provide Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (hereafter referred to as NPWT or NPWT systems) that will include the wound vac pump. The NPWT systems will be provided within the prescribed turn-around times to Logistics to be distributed to the inpatient care areas of the Washington DC VA Medical Center.
