UPDATE/AMENDMENT: The purpose of the amendment is to retract FAR Clause 52.219-33, Nonmanufacturer Rule. All other requirements, clauses, and provisions, as prescribed in the solicitation document remain in full effect. Please see the attached SF 30 for additional details.

ORIGINAL: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 4, is soliciting offers for one (1) digital transcutaneous monitor. The device will be used by the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Solicitation Details:

Purpose: The Sleep Lab Department of the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) has a requirement for one new Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Digital Monitoring Systems. A new system is necessary for daily patient sleep studies. The components and system must meet all specifications as described in the solitication document. Installation of the device will be required.

Set-Aside Status: The solicitation is designated as a 100% Small Business set-aside.

Important Note: To be considered for an award, all potential offerors must include a letter of authorization (LOA) from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the device being offered. This letter must confirm that the offeror is an authorized distributor or reseller of the OEM. Third party and "thru" LOAs will be rejected. Failure to include this letter of authorization with the quotation will result in the elimination of the offeror from consideration for the contract.
