Notice of Intent to Sole Source Abbott RALS Middleware Interface

The VISN 04 facility of VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System intend to negotiate a sole source award under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 for RALS Middleware Interface Connection with ABBOTT RAPID DIAGNOSTICS INFORMATICS, INC., 2000 Holiday DR STE 500, Charlottesville, VA 22901. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be used, and the resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity for a five-year period.

This special notice serves as notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals and is not a solicitation or request for orders. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
