NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit from a single source IAW FAR 13.106-1(b) for the purchase of supply and installation of custom trim, valves and pipes for connection of the newly acquired Getinge GSS67N Steam Sterilizer, and removal and disposal of old and outdated sterilizer and blow down tank at: Rochester Calkins VA Clinic. 260 Calkins Rd Rochester, NY 14623 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339113 and the size standard is 800 employees.

Wayne, NJ 07470 UEI: MCSUQBQ8J2F9 The Sterile Processing Services (SPS) at the Rochester Calkins VA Clinic have recently procured Getinge GSS67N Steam Sterilizer and several accessories, and the custom trim, pipes and valves, and removal and disposal of old and outdated sterilizer and blow down tank are required for the installation of the newly acquired sterilizer. Getinge USA Sales, LLC. is the sole-source supplier of factory authorized OEM parts and accessories.

Getinge OEM parts are tested for performance, longevity, and cost effectiveness. The service parts also meet OEM operational requirements and provide the best performance life in application of use. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.

Interested vendors that can meet this requirement should identify their interest and capability, and respond to this notice by July 28, 2025, at 4:00PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). Interested vendors must send a capability statement, no more than one page in length; to include Company Name, UEI Number, Socioeconomic Category, and a brief description of your business entity s capability to provide these items.

The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for the award.
