The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 intends to solicit from a single source IAW FAR 13.106(b) to obtain Service and Maintenance (pump repair) on (1) G.A. Braun, Inc. Ironer 48 Precision Series Ironer that is currently in place at the Canandaigua VAMC and manufactured by G.A. Braun, Inc. Period of Performance (POP) (estimated): 07/10/2025 through 08/10/2025 with potential for (0) option years (single-time repair). All work to be completed NLT 30 days in arrears of receiving an awarded contract.

Requirement Description: G.A. Braun, Inc. is the OEM Manufacturer and developer of their proprietary equipment and consequently identifies as being the sole authorized provider of maintenance, service and support to perform all necessary maintenance and services to its equipment in order to maintain MFG warranties (expressed or implied) for their various equipment. Furthermore, G.A.

Braun, Inc. utilizes their own in-house service technicians to perform regular service/repairs on their equipment, this also supports keeping any warranties intact. In addition to the above, G.A.

Braun, Inc. employs their own OEM-trained service technicians trained by the OEM with the proper training, knowledge and OEM specific troubleshooting tools to effectively diagnose their equipment there by saving time and additional costly repairs and can bring their equipment back to full working and safe operating capacity. G.A.

Braun, Inc. also maintains direct access to OEM parts which aids in avoiding grey-market parts from being installed on their equipment which could impact the safety and use, as well as potentially impact the overall dependability of the machine itself. They are also knowledgeable of the machine s specific tolerances.

Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
