NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source open market purchase order to BelAir Instrument Company, LLC., dba Avantik, 19 Chapin Rd, Pine Brook, NJ 07058 for service maintenance of four (4) pieces of Sakura Lab Equipment (See below) at the Buffalo VA Medical Center, located at 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215, from 07/01/2025 to 06/30/2026, with three (3) option years.

This requirement shall include annual preventative maintenance, loaner equipment, interim service visits and emergency calls (48 hour or less response time), and rental equipment at a discounted rate.

THIS IS NOT A NOTICE FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes that it can meet the requirements above, may give written notice prior to the listed response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government.

If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due on 06/23/2025 at 10:00am EST. Responses shall be submitted via email to Contracting Officer Daniel Zielinski. Telephone inquiries shall not be accepted.
