This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing to Contracting Officer Taylor Richter, taylor.richter@va.gov, no later than07/09/2025 at 12:00 pm EST. Telephone inquiries shall not be accepted. Responses to this notice shall include the following:
(a) company name (b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone and email (e) DUNS/SAM UEI number (f) Cage Code (g) Tax ID Number (h) type of small business, e.g. SDVOSB, VOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, or Small Business HUBZone business and (i) must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor for the work described below.
The Bath (76 Veterans Avenue, Bath, NY 14810) and Canandaigua (400 Fort Hill Avenue, Canandaigua, NY 14424) VA Medical Centers has a requirement for a contractor to provide an electrical study to occur once every three years (maintenance, inspection, and testing of the electrical power distribution system).
General: 1. The contractor shall provide certification in the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA) or Equivalent Certifying Organization. The NAICS Code is 238210 – Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a Small Business size standard of $19 million. SDVOSB/VOSB vendors shall be registered in SBA VetCert. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Bath and Canandaigua VA Medical Centers.
