FY25 Service - Advanced Sterilization Service Contract (BASE+4)

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The US Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 2), Stratton VA Medical Center, located at 113 Holland Ave., Albany, NY12208, intends to award a Sole Source contract, utilizing the statutory authority under Simplified Procedures For Certain Commercial Items In Accordance With FAR 13.5, 41 U.S.C. § 1901 and implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(2), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.

Advanced Sterilization Products, 33 Technology Drive, Irvine, CA 92618-2346, shall provide maintenance of Sterrad Plasma Sterilizers, which shall include scheduled maintenance services, on-site support, and telephone support services. NAICS Code is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a Small Business Size Standard of $34 million. The classification code is J065 Maintenance, Repair, Rebuild of Equipment Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies.

This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract to include four (4) option years. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Respondents should reference 36C24225Q0495 Notice of Intent.

Responses to this notice shall include company/individual name, a service capability statement, including examples of similar facilities for which services have been provided, proof of applicable OEM certifications to provide services on the equipment, DUNS number, address, point of contact and social-economic category (ex: SBVOSB, VOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, EDWOSB, Small Business). Determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Telephone inquiries or responses will not be accepted. If no viable responses have been received by the closing date of April 04, 2025, 12:00 PM (EDT), the Government shall negotiate solely with Advanced Sterilization Products.
