Equipment - Bath Pipette Calibration System (VA-25-00046661)

TITLE: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT DESCRIPTION: The VISN 02, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, is issuing a notice of intent to pursue a non-competitive procurement with Advanced Instruments, LLC, for a Pipette Calibration System for the Finger Lakes VA Health Care System.

Advanced Instruments, LLC has been determined as the only one responsible source as determined in accordance with procedures prescribed in FAR 13.106 and the anticipated contract action is hereby publicized in accordance with FAR 5.101 and FAR 5.203. Advanced Instruments, LLC is the manufacturer. The purpose of this notification is to communicate the Government’s intent to solicit and award a non-competitive purchase of these items.

This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(ii), “Soliciting from a Single Source.” The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 334516 Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrograph (CSMS) Systems, with a Size Standard of 1,000 employees. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Proposals or Quotations. No solicitation document exists, and no telephone or email inquiries will be accepted.

No contract award will be made based on proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide services sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient to determine that a comparable source to the government is available.

The government may consider all Expressions of Interest received prior to March 14, 2025. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
