The Castle Point Campus VAMC has an emergency request for one Fluke Gas Flow Analyzer with an Anesthesia Test Kit that is compatible with other Fluke medical devices already owned. This tool is critical for ensuring that all Fluke devices are compatible to meet the performance and safety standards. The Veterans Health Administration prohibits the use of gray market items in their Medical Centers.

Gray market items are considered to be items outside of the original equipment manufacturer s intended distribution channels. The VA is utilizing FAR (FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), FAR 6.302-2 and FAR 18.1-2 Only One Responsible Source for the brand name/proprietary supply mentioned above is technically acceptable and available to deliver product within the requested timeframe.
