NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:Â Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Regional Procurement Office East (RPO East), Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to Four Points Technology, L.L.C.

14900 Conference Center Dr Ste, Chantilly, VA 20151-3834 for Software Evolution Services, Advanced Technology Services with MS OS, Onsite Patching and Clinical Implementation Services, located at the Northport Medical Center VA Medical Center at 79 Middleville Rd, Northport, NY 11768. NAICS Code is 541511. The Biomedical Engineering department is requesting Software Solution Services (SES) to diagnose and correct software on a routine basis.

All repairs shall be performed solely by manufacturer trained staff, with current applicable certifications from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Contractor will follow manufacturer s recommendation for updates, repairs, calibrations, and modifications. Full-service contract shall include all necessary labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and parts required to perform repair. All equipment/software shall be maintained in proper operating condition as specified by the manufacturer.

The vendor will provide the following software requirements Software Evolution Services, Advanced Technology Services with MS OS, Onsite Patching and Clinical Implementation Services (PIC iX, IBE, and Bedsides).

The following services will also be included: Any software updates that provide minor enhancements or improvements to performance, maintainability, and serviceability of the software will be included Software Fixes and corrections to any errors or bugs of the software 24/7 Telephone and remote support coverage Remote access by the vendor to view diagnostics Next day business for software solutions that can not be solved remotely Access to web based support tools An annual customized review session that can be off site for the VA or remotely to discuss/ teach staff how to isolate and troubleshoot NAICS Code is 541511 Custom Computer Programming Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $34 million.

The classification code is J065 Maint/Repair/Rebuild Of Equipment- Medical, Dental, And Veterinary Equipment And Supplies. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements above, may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements.

Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
