06/01/2027 05/31/2028 Option Year 4: 06/01/2028 05/31/2029 Basic description of the requirement: The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center wishes to contract for Repair and Preventative Maintenance Services for Getinge USA Sterile Processing Services (SPS) equipment for all Getinge/Castle Sterilizers, Washers, and Warming Cabinets located at 79 Middleville Road, Northport NY 11768. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, equipment, tools, repair service, software updates, etc., for complete On-Site Maintenance and Repair Services.

This equipment is used to sterilize, high level disinfect, and store reusable equipment that requires sterilization/high level disinfection before use. Getinge USA Inc. is the sole-source supplier of factory authorized OEM replacement parts and accessories. Getinge OEM parts are tested for performance, longevity, and cost effectiveness. The service parts also meet OEM operational requirements and provide the best performance life in application of use. Getinge Care Service is the sole-source for OEM technicians who are trained and certified to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Getinge equipment.

The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
