Notice of Intent to Sole Source | FY24 SERVICES (BASE + 4) | Getinge Sterilizer Service Contract

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source open market purchase order to include four (4) option years to Getinge Sales USA, 1 Geoffrey Way, Wayne, NJ 07470 for a preventative maintenance service requirement of Getinge Sterilizers at the Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210. This service requirement shall include preventative maintenance, parts repair, and replacement as required, telephone support, and on-site response within one (1) day of initial request.

THIS IS NOT A NOTICE FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements above, may give written notice prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due on04/08/2024 at 10:00am EST. Responses shall be submitted via email to Contracting Officer Daniel Zielinski at Daniel.zielinski@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted.
