NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: - Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to Emerald Resources, Inc. for ongoing maintenance of the Secure Care System at the Syracuse Medical Center 800 Irving Ave, Syracuse NY 13210 for one base year October 1, 2024 to September 30th 2025 with the provision of four (4) option years. The NAICS code is 561621. -Service agreement shall satisfy the standards of the Original Equipment Manufacturer.

To ensure the Secure Care Wandering Resident System at VA Medical Center remains fully warrantied and under the limited liability insurance that Secure Care offers all equipment must be purchased and installed by a factory authorized distributor.

Emerald Resources, Inc. is the factory authorized distributor for sales, service, and installation in New York. - Emerald Resources Inc. is the only known, authorized provider in New York for service agreements on Secure Care System. - THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. If no responses are received, the government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by March 29th, 2024 at 14:00 ET. Responses shall be submitted via email to cara.grittner@va.gov.
