The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to sole source for a Base plus 4 Option periods service contract for the Research and SPS Reverse Osmosis/Deonization system for the following medical center: James J. Peter VA Medical Center 130 West Kingsbridge Rd. Bronx, NY 10468 The objective of this sole source award is for a firm fixed price contract with Staubach Barror Water Systems, Aqua Pure DBA.

This sole source determination is in accordance with FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition, procedures and in accordance with 41 USC 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. Staubach Barror Water Systems. is the only known authorized supplier and servicing agent for James J Peters VA Medical Center Reverse Osmosis/Deionization system for Research and SPS.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811310 and the size standard is 12.5 million dollars. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.

Interested vendors that can meet this requirement, should identify their interest and capability, and respond to this notice by 3:00pm Eastern Standard Time on February 27,th 2024. Interested vendors must send a capability statement, no more than one page in length; to include Company Name, UEI Number, Socioeconomic Category, brief description of your business entities capability to provide these items. All information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government.

Responses must be sent via email to the Contract Specialist Lorraine.Hussain@va.gov and will consider responses received by 3:00pm Eastern Standard Time on February 27th, 2024. Facsimile or telephonic responses will not be accepted. Simply responding as an interested party does not constitute your company as a source. Offeror must provide the above requested information.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
