REQUIREMENT/SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS/SPECIFICATIONS Common Nomenclature: Konan CellCheck D+ specular microscope with globe holder. Intended use: The scope of this work is the delivery of a Konan CellChek D+ laboratory research specular microscope and globe holder. There is no specific room set-up, installation or training required.

The equipment will be located in the VA Western New York Research Building Room 210. Other pertinent information that describes the item, material or service required: Konan CellCheck D+ Specular Microscope with globe holder System Description The requirement is for one research specular microscope corneal endothelial imaging system with specifications that meet or exceed those listed in the specifications section.

This instrument shall be delivered and assembled at the VA Western NY Medical Center Research Building. Specifications The vendor shall supply instrumentation that meets or exceeds the following specifications: Specular microscope capable of imaging human corneal endothelium in vitro. Adaptable for whole globes (eyes) and excised corneas.

Capable of measuring media temperature Capable of measuring corneal thickness Capable of full cornea imaging Visualization capabilities for non-reflective areas that cannot be visualized with specular reflection Software for analyzing images for endothelial cell count and morphometric data and measuring tools Ultra-wide viewing areas DELIVERY Items will be delivered to:
