Description Intent to Sole Source 36C24224Q0325. This is an Intent to Sole Source, this is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to provide information based on this requirement.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 2, Regional Procurement Office - East, on behalf of Brooklyn VA Medical Center located at 800 Poly Place, Brooklyn, NY 11209 intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price sole source award to Covidien Sales LLC, 15 Hampshire St, Mansfield, MA 02048 for the purchase of the ENDOFLIPTM 300 SYSTEM. This sole source award to Covidien Sales LLC is in accordance with 41 U.S.C.

1901 as implemented by way of the procedures outline in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 13.5. This Sole Source is authorized under FAR subpart 13.106-1(b) - soliciting from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of this contract action deems only one source reasonably available. This is not a request for competitive offers, quotes, or capability statements. No solicitation will be posted as a result of this notice.

This Special Notice is being issued for information purposes only. The formal Justification & Approval for this action shall be posted on this site in accordance with FAR Part 6.305(a) within 14 days after final award.
